About Me
Tyson is a small town guy in a big surf city, calling San Diego his home for 26 years. Shortly after high school Tyson joined the United States Army and served one combat tour in Afghanistan. clearing the road of IED’s his service sparked the interest of stories through captured art. He attended Full Sail University to study digital cinematography. “I wanted to go back to Afghanistan and capture the real story, the Soldiers’ stories.” He struggled through many years with PTSD and sought out help for his mental health. Within this struggle he came to the conclusion he no longer wanted to show people all the “UGLY” in the world, but show the “beauty” within this chaotic place. So he bought himself a still frame camera, called a few of his good friends and the rest was history.
Tyson specializes in glamour, beauty portraiture and professional video production. His high standards are fundamentally sound, because he captures and showcases the client's attraction. Tyson is extremely patient and kind with his clientele. Tyson prefers to captivate his clients raw and natural emotions. He seeks equal contribution within his work, His favorite quote is, "Photography is a dance if you will, between model and photographer". Photography has been what allows Tyson to break free from his PTSD.
